ST. GEORGE, Utah – Alsco Inc. has donated $2,500 to the Children of Hope Academy for providing quality education to mentally-challenged young adults.
Currently, all individuals who work at the academy are unpaid volunteers. Alsco’s $2,500 contribution will help provide paid administrators who will promote additional growth and achievement of the students at the Children of Hope Academy. Both donations and volunteers are essential to the academy’s survival and future success of its programs.
About the Children of Hope Academy: The Children of Hope Academy is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by Diana and Alton Wade. The academy is a school for mentally challenged students over age 18 who do not have viable educational options and want to improve their abilities and opportunities. The academy operates under the National Association for Child Development (NACD), which provides a consistent, individualized structure for each student aiming to improve brain function and overall quality of life.
